Elaine Paige has one of the most hauntingly beautiful voices I've ever heard. It's easy to forget about the true power of music ♥

I've just been reading about the effects of inbreeding on mental health and there is a strong case for Islamic terrorism being a result of this. "A rough estimate shows that close to half of all Muslims in the world are inbred: In Pakistan, 70% of all marriages are between first cousins." What the fuck. This book is gold. I wouldn't have believed it was written by a woman if I didn't already know it was! "The basis of any economy is a system of barter. Therefore, someone demanding a service must be able to offer something of equal value in exchange for it. But as a man must fulfill his sexual desires and, since he tends to want to possess exclusive rights over one vagina, the prices have risen to an extortionate level." "It would be mistaken to maintain that only women are interested in having children. Men want them, too. Children are one of the two or three excuses by which they justify their subjection to women. Women, on the other hand, need children to justify their laziness, stupidity, and lack of responsibility." "All she needs is an excuse for making one particular man work for her long after he ceases to want to go to bed with her. This excuse is provided by bearing his children." "To guarantee material security and allow a woman to seem helpless and incapable of earning a living, two to three children are necessary. This minimizes the risk of old age without children or grandchildren who prove their respect and love, their gratitude to her for being such a good mother and grandmother. Besides, the children keep each other amused, leaving mother free for `superior' occupations, sewing, for example, or baking. Her maternal care consists of locking the children in a room together and coming in only when one of them gets hurt and screams loud enough to summon her." ππ

After an awesome weekend with the kids, it's been a relatively productive day in solitude. I know Sheila will think my greatest achievement (regardless of whatever else I've done) is modifying my appearance to look about 5yrs younger ππ€£ - I always forget how baby-faced I look without a proper beard!

For anyone unaware, at the moment there is a massive Ransomware attack underway all over the world. If your PC becomes infected, you potentially lose everything unless you pay a large ransom amount to the hackers. This isn't a hoax or an exaggeration, it's affecting loads of companies including train stations, hospitals and businesses. Be extra cautious when opening email attachments or visiting websites. Best advice, make sure you backup anything really important or irreplaceable on external hard drives, USB memory sticks or cloud servers like Dropbox. If you are infected and cannot afford to pay, you will lose any file not backed up elsewhere.

Sorting through photos from Berlin, I have to admit it is one of the most beautiful cities I've visited. The architecture, graffiti and street art, the greenery bursting through the urban landscape, the vastness of it's sprawling tapestry of life, history and culture... it really is a magical place! ❤️

How do you vote honestly within a political system where every party is dishonest? Where policies, manifestos and promises are blurred, vague and misleading? Where media spin distorts reality with illusion, and you end up not even knowing what is real and what is fake with regards to where your vote goes? How do you stay true to your morals, beliefs and compassion when you are blinded from the reality by the deception? It is obvious that all of us vote for what we believe will better the lives of ourselves, families and friends; we vote for what we think will better our living conditions, improve our quality of life, and secure the best possible future for those we care about. But how can you vote in a system where you can't even be sure what you vote represents? Where you cannot even begin to predict the outcomes that will result from it? Voting should be done more frequently in my opinion; rather than shackling yourselves to four years of potential spiraling, if promises are broken, policies disregarded, and the candidate strays from what won them the public favour, they should be replaced, asap. At least that way there would be damage limitation for misguided and blind voting.

Well this can fuck right off for start. Allow me to clarify something for people who don't bother reading stuff and just go along with it...
1) They will take x% of your income every payday, increasing over the next few years. By April 2019 your minimum contribution will be 5% of your wage; your employer will have to add a further 3% to this. Fair enough right?
2) The People's Pension operator B&CE will take a 0.5% payment out of your account every year as their wages. The more you save, the bigger the 0.5% will equate too. No wonder they try to get you putting more in over time.
3) You can select which 'investment scheme' to use, but regardless they will be "gambling" with your pension contributions to try and increase the amount you have in the pot so their 0.5% is worth more. If the investments are poor you could lose all the pension money you pay in. So to reiterate, you GIVE them an increasing amount of YOUR money to "SAVE" for your retirement. They take a 0.5% cut of it EVERY YEAR. They GAMBLE with YOUR money to try and make their cut worth more. And if it goes tits up, YOU lose money. Fuck that.

I implore you all to sign! If your 7yr old child was knocked down and killed by an uninsured, speeding driver who has plead guilty to dangerous driving, would you be satisfied with them receiving just 12 months in prison, meanwhile you have to try to live without your child for the rest of your life!?

Just watched Three Girls and needless to say tears fell when the guilty pleas were given. As the Father of a young girl, and brother to three younger sisters, this is too close to home. The emotion I've felt whilst watching this is a testament to the failings of the legal system on yet another atrocity. It makes me sick to know that most of these sexual predators are back out now on the streets again. It's sickening. Watch your children, protect them and always do everything you can to keep them safe. The world is an ugly place.
22/05/2017 @23:31
The entire system of parliament and elections needs redressing; what is currently in place simply does not work. Fear not, this isn't just a meaningless rant, but rather a structured idea of what would be more suited imo. My suggestion; there is a figurehead appointed who has no power besides to enforce what is decided. The figurehead has no political bias. There is no "political party" just a democratic entity. Instead of voting on a political manifesto where we agree with some parts but not others, voters are presented with decisions on policies - rather than voting for "Labour" or "Tory" we vote on actual issues. Do we tighten up borders or not? Do we increase NHS funding or not? Do we overhaul public education and curriculum or not? Etc. etc. Once the votes have been cast and we have a democratically agreed manifesto for what we want for this country, we then vote on importance of budget allocation - we decide among us where the funds are directed. Obviously we cannot pump infinite money into every area - we have to prioritise funding on the issues that matter most to the voters of the country. This is done by allocating importance to different areas of policy. The figurehead then enforces the democratic decision, and failing to do so gets them fired like anyone else would be for not doing the job they were hired for. There is no minimum four year period where it can all spiral into chaos; if shit isn't getting done in a timely manner as voted for, we turf out the failing representatives and get replacements in.

Thoughts are with all of those affected by the events unfolding in Manchester. I'm hearing nail bombs were used at the Ariana Grande concert, there are allegedly 20 fatalities mostly children and disabled people, and now a gunman outside Oldham Hospital too. Islamist ISIS have claimed responsibility on Twitter - @owys663 Sickening the world we live in. When will national security be taken seriously?!

Hashtags, thoughts and prayers will not bring back the dead. Flags over profile pictures will not prevent further acts of terror. Being offended about Islamophobia will not make extremists become sympathetic. This isn't going away and burying your head in virtue signalling whilst bleating about understanding and tolerance will not keep you or those you care about safe. We've done all the above too many times in the last few years after acts of terrorism and guess what? Last night still happened. It doesn't work. It doesn't change anything. We need change. We need action. We need to stop ignoring the problem and hoping it goes away. We need to stop worrying about political correctness and feelings. Facts don't care about feelings, and the fact is this will happen again if nothing changes. The fact is children have died because we are too busy being tolerant to do what is necessary. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. We need change!!

As I lie here with my little Princess, my mind wanders to the families who lose their loved ones in these senseless wars and atrocities. I'll hold her extra tightly, hug her a little bit longer and kiss her a few more times than usual from now on. It makes you really appreciate how blessed you are and reminds you to cherish every second. This world is an ugly place, but this beautiful little girl gives me hope that love can conquer fear ❤️ xo

I feel like I need to retract/clarify some thing's I wrote the other day whilst I was angry and upset over the Manchester situation. I stand by my statements that we need change, not just continuing to post hashtags, and profile pictures with little logos relating to tragedies involving terrorism. I stand by my call for the mass deportation/internment of known terrorists and those accomplices linked to it. What I don't believe however is that all Muslims should be tarred with the same brush. In anger I went as far as saying we should strafe run and carpet bomb the entire country and be done with it. I concede that would be counterproductive. When we hear people saying "we need love and tolerance" it sounds like apologist behaviour; I don't think we should be tolerant of extremism, however I do believe we need to completely redress foreign policy. We need to stop bombing foreign countries, stop trying to police the Middle East, and stop "liberating" countries by tearing them to pieces. We need to stop selling arms to violent regimes, stop arming terrorists and stop contributing to the problem. Violence only begets more violence; we bomb their hospitals and then they blow up our music venues in retaliation. We need to stop getting involved overseas and turn our attention and resources inward to secure our own country. If the army and Government weren't too preoccupied bombing countries such as Libya then perhaps we could have the resources and intel to prevent incidents such as Manchester.
27/05/2017 @22:20
So I put Ilysha bed at half 8, she was flat out from swimming. I just come to go bed myself, go to check in on her and kiss her forehead as I always do, and she is face down on the floor the opposite way to how she was in her bed π what even?!

As a creative person, I have to admit that the most demoralising thing that crushes my motivation is the lack of support, encouragement and constructive criticism. I just want to take a moment to offer my heartfelt and humble thanks to everyone who has ever taken the time to listen to my music, read my poetry, stories and blogs, or to view my artwork. You are the one's who help me to enjoy the things I feel passionate about.

Is she for real? Angela Merkel, the moron who has merrily destroyed her own country* (and is trying to impose the same national suicide on the rest of the EU) with her ridiculously lax policies on immigration has realised that US and UK aren't going to bring in the cavalry to bail her out in the future. Then she acts all hard done too like US/UK are the bad guys being unwilling to partake in her insanity. * [...of migrant crimes specifically, Syrians top the list of migrant crimes that are not related to border controls, with a total of 10,348 individual offences in 2015. They also led assault cases among migrants, with 3,186 offences in 2015. Thefts were most committed by Albanians, with 6,689 offences and Algerians coming close with 5,611. Algerians almost tie with Serbians when it comes to fraud. Balkan nationals were accountable for 2,834 cases, barely above North Africans’ 2,774. Algerians top the list for smuggling goods (2,449) and also top the list for drug selling offences (976).] (http://www.breitbart.com/london/2016/05/23/germany-registers-surge-crimes-right-wing-radicals/) [http://www.breitbart.com/news/merkel-warns-us-britain-no-longer-reliable-partners/]

I challenge anyone that I know to read this and not agree with everything it says. My only concern is that it sounds too good, and more like a wishlist than an achievable proposal; that isn't a negative however, because even if they only delivered half of what they're aiming for, it would still have a direct beneficial impact on the UK. Reading this manifesto really does give me hope; the changes it envisions would put me at ease over the thought of my little girl growing up in this country. That being said, the Tory Manifesto will be getting a full read too - you can't make an informed decision, unless you're informed.

Holy fuck, I knew corporate pay gaps were high but: "the gap between those paid most and those paid least has grown from 47:1 in 1998 to 128:1 in 2015." 128:1 Let that sink in. In 2015 the minimum wage was £6.70 for 21+ so for a full time worker on 40hr weeks, that's £13,936 gross per year. That means the opposite end of the 128:1 ratio were on £1.78 million gross per annum. What in the actual fuck!? For the record Labour Manifesto says: "reduce boardroom pay excesses by moving towards a 20:1 gap between the highest and lowest paid."

"Morning light broke through the window, its warm rays illuminating NyrΓΆk's face, rousing him from his slumber. He closed his eyes as fast as he'd opened them, burrowing deeper into the blankets that embraced his aching body. The taste of mead lingered on his breath; a dull pulsing throb in his head reminding him that he'd perhaps drank a little too heartily with Rhalav last night. His eyes fluttered open once more, the blinding light blurring his vision more than expected. He stretched out, his limbs extending to the corners of the bed as he groaned in relief."
