"Here’s what I’m really struggling to understand. All I’ve ever heard from people, for years, is: “bloody bankers and their bonuses” “bloody rich and their offshore tax havens “ “bloody politicians with their lying and second homes” “bloody corporations paying less tax than me” “bloody Establishment, they’re all in it together” “it’ll never change, there’s no point in voting” And quite rightly so, I said all the same things. But then someone comes along that’s different. He upsets the bankers and the rich. The Tory politicians hate him along with most of the labour politicians. The corporations throw more money at the politicians to keep him quiet. And the Establishment is visibly shaken. I’ve never seen the Establishment so genuinely scared of a single person. So the media arm of the establishment gets involved. Theresa phones Rupert asking what he can do, and he tells her to keep her mouth shut, don’t do the live debate, he’ll sort this out. So the media goes into overdrive with: “she’s strong and stable” “he’s a clown” “he’s not a leader” “look he can’t even control his own party” “he’ll ruin the economy” “how’s he gonna pay for it all?!” “he’s a terrorist sympathiser, burn him, burn the terrorist sympathiser” And what do we? We’ve waited forever for an honest politician to come along but instead of getting behind him we bow to the establishment like good little workers. They whistle and we do a little dance for them. We run around like hypnotised robots repeating headlines we’ve read, all nodding and agreeing. Feeling really proud of ourselves because we think we’ve came up with our very own first political opinion. But we haven’t, we haven’t come up with anything. This is how you tell. No matter where someone lives in the country, they’re repeating the same headlines, word for word. From Cornwall to Newcastle people are saying: “he’s a clown” “he’s a threat to the country” “she’s strong and stable” “he’ll take us back to the 70s” And there’s nothing else, there’s no further opinion. There’s no evidence apart from one radio 5 interview that isn’t even concrete evidence, he actually condemns the violence of both sides in the interview. There’s no data or studies or official reports to back anything up. Try and think really hard why you think he’s a clown, other than the fact he looks like a geography teacher (no offence geography teachers) because he hasn’t done anything clownish from what I’ve seen. And you’re not on this planet if you think the establishment and the media aren’t all in it together. You think Richard Branson, who’s quietly winning NHS contracts, wants Corbyn in? You think Rupert Murdoch, who’s currently trying to widen his media monopoly by buying sky outright, wants Jeremy in? You think the Barclay brothers, with their offshore residencies, want him in? You think Philip Green, who stole all the pensions from BHS workers and claims his wife owns Top Shop because she lives in Monaco, wants Corbyn in? You think the politicians, both Labour and Tory, with their second homes and alcohol paid for by us, want him in? You think Starbucks, paying near zero tax, wants him in? You think bankers, with their multi million pound bonuses, want him in? And do you think they don’t have contact with May? Or with the media? You honestly think that these millionaires and billionaires are the sort of people that go “ah well, easy come easy go, it was nice while it lasted”?? I wouldn’t be if my personal fortune was at risk, I’d be straight on the phone to Theresa May or Rupert Murdoch demanding this gets sorted immediately. Because here’s a man, a politician that doesn’t lie and can’t lie. He could have said whatever would get him votes anytime he wanted but he hasn’t. He lives in a normal house like us and uses the bus just like us. He’s fought for justice and peace for nearly 40 years. He has no career ambitions. And his seat is untouchable. That’s one of the greatest testimonies. No one comes close to removing him from his constituency, election after election. His Manifesto is fully costed. It all adds up, yes there’s some borrowing but that’s just to renationalise the railway, you know we already subsidise them and they make profit yeah? One more time… WE subsidise the railway companies and they walk away with a profit, just try and grasp the level of piss taking going on there. Unlike the Tory manifesto with a £9 billion hole, their figures don’t even add up. And it benefits all of us, young, old, working, disabled, everyone. The only people it hurts are the establishment, the rich, the bankers, the top 5% highest earners. Good, screw them, it’s long overdue. #VoteLabour #ForTheManyNotTheFew!"- Chris Renwick

"Despite being the #1 selling movie on YouTube, beating Guardians of the Galaxy and Star Wars, Cassie Jaye’s documentary, “The Red Pill” was declined for inclusion by Netflix." This is a sign of the times. The Red Pill is possibly the most important film of our time for highlighting the oppression towards MEN. I know mainstream media, SJW's and Feminists will scream to the contrary, but I encourage all of you to watch this film and realise that men do not have it all rosy, and on things that matter most such as "staying alive" and "being involved in their children's lives" the system is stacked against them. 99.9% of American combat deaths and casualties are men. 97% of workplace deaths are men. 76% of homicides are men. 80% of Suicides are men. Men die on average about 6 years earlier than women, yet women retire earlier than men. Prostate cancer is just as common and deadly as breast cancer but receives next to no funding or awareness marketing. 66% of divorces are filed by women, and they win 84% of child custody cases. And that's only a handful of the Men's Rights issues that are explored.

I read the views of most Tory voters with utter disgust. The contempt they show towards the working class is repulsive. Their biggest gripe seems to be that allegedly people complaining about how unbalanced living conditions are between the upper tiers and the majority are just lazy and can't be arsed to work for a better life! So nurses, firefighters, teachers, police, armed forces etc on absolute horsepiss wages, turns out, you're all lazy and deserve to be struggling to get by! Grinds my gears! It's easy to piss on the masses when you're in an ivory tower!

The more the political debate ensues, the more I realise the starkest issue with the situation; both sides are so entrenched in their opinion that they cannot even contemplate the other side of the coin. People are stubbornly digging in their heels and not weighing up the counter arguments. Either that, or more worryingly, there truly is a huge divide in the interests and worries of the population. The country is literally divided this generation - the YouGov poll proved that with the forecast hung parliament. There have only ever been two hung parliaments previously - way back in 1974, and concerningly recently just 7 years ago in 2010. It does not bode well when the conflict in political opinion is practically 50/50 for and against; and this has obviously been the case for the most part of the last decade. The 2010 election was hung. The EU Referendum 2016 was practically 50/50. The 2017 snap election is predicted to be hung. Regardless of the victor, after this snap election, there are going to be a huge percentage of disappointed and/or angry voters. And that is not healthy for the forward progression of our country.

Men, we need to talk. It's not glamorous, but it's very important you pay attention. Did you know that Prostate Cancer is the most common cancer in men? Over 46,000 men are diagnosed with Prostate Cancer every year. Around 11,000 men die from Prostate Cancer every year. 1 in 8 men will get Prostate Cancer in their lifetime. π± You will likely know that the most common types of cancer in the UK are lung cancer and bowel cancer; these account for around 33% of all cancer related deaths in the UK. The NCRI (National Cancer Research Institute) who co-ordinate funding allocate a combined total of around £40 million to research into lung cancer and bowel cancer. Breast cancer, which makes up for around 8% of cancer-related deaths, receives around £40 million itself - more than bowel and lung cancer combined. Prostate cancer, which rivals breast cancer accounts for 7% of cancer-related deaths yet only receives £22 million in funding. Prostate Cancer awareness is hugely underfunded and we need to look out for all of our fellow men by spreading awareness wherever we can. I'm not asking you to share this, but do not stigmatise the discussion of Prostate Cancer, and be brave enough to speak up about it.

For those who's biggest issues with Labour was "I'm not having Diane Abbott looking after our countries defence!" - look no further, she won't be. And for the record, it wasn't Abbott who sold billions of pounds worth of arms to the Middle East, and stripped the UK police to the bone as a shining example of "looking after our countries defence"... Just saying.

I find it bewildering how some people can be so dismissive and apathetic of politics; do they not realise that politics literally affects every aspect of their lives? Employment, wages, finance, climate, environment, economy, emergency services, education, health, energy, religion, human rights, defense, security, immigration, transport, law, privacy, and literally everything else... Literally everything in your life is affected by politics. So if you get annoyed by people being passionate about it, perhaps you need to reassess why you don't have an opinion or interest in what essentially equates to the very fabric of your existence. Hats off to the (almost) 49 million people who voted today. Let's hope whatever the outcome, life improves for us all in one way or another. ♥
09/06/2017 @12:44
Just imagine how strong the Labour campaign would have been if his own party had backed him? Now May has gone to get down on her knees and beg for support from the Queen after yet another arrogant abortion of a political campaign where she weakened her own parties position. Awesome work Tories! Now they can stop bleating about Corbyn being a terrorist sympathiser as their party may be forming a coalition with the DUP! Christ. The hypocrisy is staggering!
09/06/2017 @17:39

The terms "IRA sympathiser" and "Coalition of Chaos" will embody the ultimate example of hypocritical irony if the Tories decide to not proceed as a minority Government and instead partner up with DUP. Jheeze. Regressive is an understatement.
11/06/2017 @11:11
Yup, be proud guys π at least "Corbyn the idiot" isn't in charge, right? Can't wait for the shitstorm as a result of the DUP being represented in Westminster! BRING IT ON! Of course you should own it, because you knew what you were voting for, because you surely read the manifesto they published before paying attention to the media's smear campaign right? I mean, when a huge effort was made by Labour voters to educate Tory voters what they were voting for, it would have to be a fantastic combo of ignorance and arrogance to disregard all the valid points and blindly follow the propaganda in favour of Tories? And if it wasn't wilful ignorance or arrogance, then you must have known this would be the result of your vote. So fairplay, congrats π

Bit of research on Irish/Northern Irish politics. The Northern Ireland Assembly is the legislature of Northern Ireland, a democratically elected body of 90 members. The Assembly is one half of two institutions created under the 1998 Good Friday Agreement that sought to end the violent Troubles which saw the deaths of more than 3,500 people, 52% of which were civilians. The Good Friday Agreement focuses on the shared power of Northern Ireland, with Ireland. The Troubles were a three decade period of civil conflict between Ireland (Republican's such as the IRA) and Northern Ireland (Loyalist's such as the Ulster Resistance). The IRA wished for Northern Ireland to leave the UK and join a united Ireland; the Ulster Resistance wished for Northern Ireland to remain part of the UK. The Ulster Resistance caused more civilian deaths than the IRA; 85% of those they killed were civilians; the Ulster Resistance was founded by a collection of people who went on to be prominent DUP politicians. The Good Friday Agreement included a ceasefire between Ireland and Northern Ireland, and introduced a democratic, diplomatic process that would help maintain stability. The DUP were the only major political group in Northern Ireland who opposed the Good Friday Agreement. Under the Good Friday Agreement, England acts as a mediator between Ireland and Northern Ireland to keep the peace. The Sinn Fein party are the second largest Northern Ireland party, and also have representation in Ireland. They are Republicans, whereas the DUP are Loyalists making it a tense affair between the parties given the IRA/Ulster history during the Troubles. Sinn Fein refuse to actually take their seats at parliament as they do not consider the Northern Ireland Assembly a legitmate Government. Sinn Fein have also refused to share power with DUP due to accusations that the DUP were responsible for the misspending of £500,000,000 of public money in the RHI scandal. The last Assembly collapsed in March 2017 after their latest snap election that saw the DUP take 28 seats, and the Sinn Fein party take 27. This means at present Northern Ireland do not have a Government, and the Republicans have a very firm foothold in Northern Ireland. Concerns are mounting about the Tories giving DUP power in Westminster, as this will raise the ire of Sinn Fein and could potentially undo all of the progress made under the Good Friday Agreement. The view is that England cannot act as an impartial mediator between the Republican party Sinn Fein and the Loyalist party DUP when they have a vested interest in one side for their own purposes. At present there are very justified concerns of a potential breakdown of the ceasefire in Ireland, and a resurgence of IRA and Ulster bombings in the near future as a result of the Tories aligning themselves with the DUP.
11/06/2017 @23:02
Here's hoping Ruth Smeeth can help prevent this. As I said during the election process, it is so important for our children to protect the education system by protecting our local community by backing a local candidate who actually cares about the city we live in. This is the budget cuts intended for our area and how it will directly impact all the local schools that our children attend.

The "relocation agreement" does not sound like much of an "agreement" if 3 countries are disagreeing with it, no? The bone of contention lies in Article 78 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union (http://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/?uri=celex%3A12012E%2FTXT) that states Member States must accept third-country nationals at the behest of the EU's decision. The COUNCIL DECISION (EU) 2015/1601 demanded that the countries must accept the following numbers of migrants from Italy & Greece respectively (http://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/?uri=celex%3A32015D1601).
Poland - 3881 (Greece) and 1201 (Italy).
Hungary - 988 (Greece) and 306 (Italy).
Czech - 1215 (Greece) and 376 (Italy).
The EU will provide financial assistance to the tune of €6000 per immigrant to the member state. This relocation project of forced relocation of third world nationals across Europe is costing the EU €720,000,000. I still stand firmly by my vote in the EU Referendum in favour of Brexit. We now need to deliver this in the form of a Hard departure. The opportunity is here, Article 50 has been actioned, and it's imperative that we divorce the Bloc that has served as a thorn in the side of our great country for the last few decades. We need a Hard Brexit - we need to sever ties irrevocably. If the Tories fail to deliver this, and u-turn on their stance in much the same way they are slowly doing on every other policy they've offered, it will be the biggest injustice our generation will ever endure.
13/06/2017 @23:02
So, digging deeper turns out most of the "refugees" that are arriving and flooding Italy are actually Libyan's that are being smuggled into the EU under the guise of being "refugees". And the EU are enforcing the distribution of these "refugees" into other countries of Europe under enforcement of "Article 78 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union". There are 15,600 "refugees" being shipped out of Italy into all corners of Europe. I'd be speechless if I didn't already call this previously.

"The cremello mare swept alongside the Throneguard escort, the bay carrying NyrΓΆk just seconds behind. The clatter of armour echoed as heads turned in unison, instinctive and alert. Gauntlets resting on hilts half-drew their blades from sheathes in baited anticipation. A loud rasp commanded from ahead, "at ease men". Reins yanked sharply as the escort drew to a sudden stop. Teindric drew around, the royal barding that adorned the flanks of his horse emblazoned with the Illustra crest, an intimidatingly large double-edged sword hung from his back. "State your business riders.""

I swear there is literally no point whatsoever in me doing overtime at work! £28.65 wages for 3hrs overtime, of which they took 43% off me in deductions leaving me with a grand total of £16.29 for 3hrs work. That's £5.43 net p/h compared to the £8.23 net p/h I get paid for my salaried hours!

N'aww, so the Tories spent £1bn of our money to stay in power by recruiting the regressive DUP to back their corner. Now the first real test of their heartlessness and they pass with flying colours. Today they voted down the motion to end cuts to emergency services and to end the Public Sector Pay Cap. Obviously bribing the DUP to stay in power is more important.
[feeling unsurprised]

Watching Parliamentary debate is just embarrassing. The whole House of Commons is just a shambolic display of ego and sycophants. It's worse than a creche. People talking over each other with smug little grins, and absolute disrespect for the other MP's and the House. No wonder our country is going down the swanny when MP's don't even have the maturity and respect to hold a serious and civilised debate.
