It may be difficult but you must learn to understand; Not everybody will like you, just as you will not like everybody you meet. It does not make them a bad person, in the same way that it does not make you a bad person. We are all our own people comprised of our memories, experiences and perceptions; unique patchwork quilts with Rubik's cube personalities. Neither will everyone that you make a priority, also make you a priority of theirs. We each connect with people on a level befitting of their position within our own complex network of friendships and relationships; they may be everything to you, whereas you may not be everything to them. And finally nor will everybody you support in their lives also offer you support in yours. Whether it's emotional, spiritual, support for passions, talents or interests; just because you offer support to them, does not oblige them to also offer support to you. Accepting these lessons is not easy; I'm the one telling them, but I still struggle at times.

Mixed bag today; not seeing Charlie due to the snow which sucks, but is understandable. It does mean me & Ilysha can go out play in the snow this afternoon down the park though (my garden is crap for snow). Fuck about. 1hr to get from Hanley to Smallthorne on the bus. It's chaotic out there. Seen a car spin clean out and mount the kerb ending up on a verge at bottom of Cobridge Bank. Three people slip over and hit the deck. Two abandoned buses by the Sneyd Arms. Two ambulances stuck in traffic. One gritter fighting a losing battle. And a partridge in a fucking pear tree.

This is fucking madness; whoever made this like wowzers, you got knowledge out the ass. Turns out that since forever, everybody has been trying to conquer everybody. Countries have been owned, enslaved, overthrown, pillaged, and freed repeatedly. I never cared much for history when I was younger; perhaps this is a sign of me growing up? I want to learn about EVERYTHING. I want to know about every empire, every race, every creed, every part and parcel of the past that has delivered us to this moment in time!

Have to make things difficult 🙈 agreed I'd have Ilysha from 4pm today at earliest but would play it by ear depending when Xmas dinner was done etc. Gets a text at 2pm asking if I'm ready to have her dropped off - obvs not, that's why we agreed 4pm earliest... Msg her at 5pm saying I'm home now, ignored until half 5 only to be told "we'll be there later on because got tired of waiting around"! 🙄🔫
