It's nights like tonight where I wish I had a missus. Could've sent her upstairs earlier to warm the bed up whilst I played some PS4, then come up and nicked the nice warm blanket off her.

Seriously I usually sleep starko bollocko but tonight I feel like going bed in my coat, scarf, hat & gloves. Roof is creaking like it's about to fly the fuck away. This weather is thoroughly unnecessary.

Netflix: "Are you still watching?"
Yes, yes I am. It may not be healthy that I'm four consecutive episodes into binge watching a show, but that is my prerogative. Now fuck off and stop asking.

Good. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. USA have been poking the proverbial bear for a long time - totally unsurprised that eventually knocking the devil's door has yielded an unwanted answer.

Saw a comment that summarised my own thoughts on this; Lego is a) massively overpriced, and b) too kit based whereas back in the past you'd get massive mixed selections of bricks where you could use your imagination to make loads of mad creative shit, and now you pay £50 for a box with a step by step guide to build one specific set, and if you lose any piece, you can't make what you are supposed to. Just go back to grassroots of selling tubs of random blocks and let kids use their imagination to make whatever they want instead of spoonfeeding them what their "imagination" should be coming up with.

Productive night. The difference between a job and a career is, one you leave at work whereas the other you take home too. If I got paid overtime for all the hours I spent at night doing work related stuff, I would be a lot better off financially. But pay or not, jobs need to get done. Off to bed now, been a fun relaxing day with my little Princess ❤️ & I'm looking forward to seeing my little Prince tomorrow π

What's on my mind? Really Facebook? Okay, let's go... Sometimes, my head falls off thinking deeply about inexplicably complex notions. Sometimes I even think that these thoughts will drive me insane, like, actually insane. That said, I am just that type of person who cannot let anything go; I am too curious, too persistent - and the answers that elude me are what psychologically decimate me. The questions that keep me hungry for answers, always. It's just who I am; I thrive on knowledge, always yearning for more. I want to know about everything that ever was, is, and may be. I want to understand the most complicated principles and the most elusive concepts. Let's take the illusion of life. What is life? Living? Consciousness? What is reality? The brain interprets everything using electrical signals; what we see, hear, smell, taste, touch... every single thing we experience, believe, dream, every thought, every memory and everything is merely binary; 0's and 1's - data. The world as we understand it and experience it, it's all just electricity and binary. It's all just so simple, but so complex at the same time. If everything can be broken down to electric impulses, and to zeroes and ones, then everything can be theoretically mimicked. The zeroes and ones could be mapped and replicated. The electric impulses could be cloned, mirrored, reproduced. You could theoretically take a brain, place it on a shelf and feed it electric signals that create the illusion of an alternate reality; you could convince the brain it's alive, experiencing life when it is not. Reality as we perceive it is determined by the inputs of our limited five apertures, the five senses that tell us this world exists, and that we are living our lives. You could resequence the binary of DNA, the human genome. You could create a foetus in a laboratory, feed it the binary sequences for any experience, memory, knowledge even. You could create children who already know how to speak every language, the history of humanity verbatim, anything - simply by inserting the relevant zeroes and ones into their brain at a young age. After all, knowledge is simply binary data stored and recalled. The binary that is stored when we learn Spanish for example, it's simply zeroes and ones that if mapped could theoretically be inserted into anybody. It may sound like I have watched the Matrix too many times, but truth often is stranger than fiction. And perhaps Matrix does in fact hit close to home, because if it were real, or if the Simulation Theory is correct, we would be unable to prove it whilst confined within the rules of the code. Look at every existing theory of where life began; whether you believe in religion, or Darwinism, it doesn't matter. What is zero day? What is the beginning of it all? How could there ever be a beginning? If you believe in a God, where did they come from? How did your God come to exist? If you believe in the Big Bang, what existed before it? How could everything simply appear from nothing? They say the Big Bang created the Universe, but how is that possible? There must have been something before the Big Bang to cause it? Nothingness in and of itself is already something; it's the absence of everything, but the concept of infinity is abstract; infinity has no definition without the presence of finite. I want to know; how did this come to be? How is it possible that we can hold in our hand what is essentially plastic, metal and glass, and with a few taps of our finger, we can transmit our voice to the other side of the planet instantly? How is that even possible? How did we come to understand that the picture on your TV screen, the music playing on your iPod, the software running on your computer - it's all just encoded binary, zeroes and ones that are compiled to generate sensory interpretable data? Every word on the screen of whatever device you are reading this on, is simply zeroes and ones that have been generated by me typing letters and transmitted wirelessly like magic to be collected somehow, reconstructed into a sequence that you can interpret and understand? These thoughts are enough to drive you insane. These are just a couple of examples of questions that tear my head apart trying to fathom this world and the complexities of the system we live within. Ignorance is bliss, unfortunately bliss is only available to the ignorant; and I am far from ignorant.

It took a lot of deliberating to declare Witcher 3 my favourite game, but even now Skyrim still makes me question my final judgement. Just seeing trailers, hearing the theme song or seeing Fus Ro Dah memes and videos... they are both epic in their own ways. May have to revert to saying it's too close a call between them for me!

Sometimes I wanna be around friends and family, chatting, laughing and being sociable. Other times I just want to shut the world out entirely, for no reason other than I just want some time to myself, to think, to be alone and enjoy my own solitude. If you message me and I don't reply right away, it's not "being ignorant" or "antisocial", sometimes I'd just rather be left alone and I'll get at you when I'm good. Respect my decision to just enjoy my own peace.

I'm left to assume May's threat of the UK being prepared to "stand ready to take much more extensive measures” against the Kremlin carries as much weight as Trumps "fire and fury" comments regarding North Korea. Why do these leaders poke the proverbial bears? Do they fail to realise the collateral damage of WW3 would be the innocent families of all the countries involved? Or more likely, do they just not care?

Over the years we grew, earned more scars than we even knew, that much is true.../
And I hoped that you could make it too, escape from the demons chasing you.../
I lost most friends when I tried to fly; lost the rest when I left the sky.../
Now my feet are on the floor and my heads held high, I remember us through nostalgic eyes..../
Fondest memories decorate this melody - time to accept the past is all we'll ever be.../
Stop dreaming of reunions that will never be, I reminisce with bittersweet jealousy.

As someone who has been deeply affected by suicide, this campaign will be forever close to my heart. Male suicide is a huge issue with 75% of UK suicides being males, with hanging as the most common method. In 2011 I lost both a friend, Anthony Mansell and also Ricky Lewis, my Brother in Law to suicide. Both took their own lives within the space of three months. In 2012 I was close to suicide myself whilst battling depression during the court proceedings over Ilysha where I was prevented from seeing her for 6 months whilst fighting tooth and nail to get a court order that would force her Mum to let me be involved in her life. I was forced to jump through hoops despite being the one fighting the uphill battle and made out to be a risk to my own child. I am so grateful for Samaritans for helping through that dark period of my life, and so thankful that I am still here today to have the privilege of watching her grow into a beautiful young lady. I am aware that more than a few of my male friends have also considered or in some cases even attempted suicide, and it really is an unspoken and taboo subject; men are supposed to be the stoic, unbreakable and steadfast types who shrug off painful emotions and just "get on with it" - "man up" as the popular saying goes. This is a plea to anybody who ever gets to the point where they cannot see a light at the end of the tunnel and suicide seems like the only way out - speak to me, message me, or at least talk to someone. The darkest demons thrive in your silent solitude - surround yourself with a strong support network of friends and family. Do not fight the battle alone. "Nothing is permanent in this wicked world - not even our troubles" ❤️ #Project84 #CALM #Samaritans

Posts like this piss me off tbh, and the comments are hilarious. The game is rated 12. Your kid just turned 7. If you choose to let your kid plays games above their age rating, don't cry about the content. It's like showing your toddler a horror film rated 12 and then writing to the company who made it to complain that your kid was scared by it. Or sneaking your 10 year old into a stripclub and then going to complain that he's being exposed to tits and strippers. Fuck sake. ππ«
