Ugh, yesterday Ilysha's mate Izzy was around mine for 6hrs. Today we get back from swimming and she is already waiting outside my front door for us - her Dad explains she hasn't stopped asking come play all day. Obviously Ilysha is like "yay Izzy has come play" and I'm like "ffs I just want some quiet time with my kid" 😐 long story short, Izzy is here playing with Ilysha because I don't have the heart to say "no" 🙈🙄

Showed Ilysha a photo of her Mum earlier and she said "who's that?" - I said, "it's your Mum, what do you mean?" to which she replied "oh, I forgot what she looks like, I haven't seen her in ages" 😂

Izzy banging on the front door: "Ilysha I'm coming play with you!" Ilysha is still in just her pants because she has been reluctant to get dressed all morning. Get her dressed and let Izzy in, Ilysha says "C'mon let's go play upstairs!" Izzy: "I think I just want to play downstairs with your Lego on my own." Guess again! Get upstairs and play with Ilysha! This is a playdate, not a crèche! 😂

5yrs ago today was the first time my family got to meet Ilysha 😍 the first time I got to spend time with her myself without other people crowding and monitoring me. Crazy how times change ❤️ xo
