Aww adorable! That feeling when a page advocating for overturning the referendum can't defend themselves or provide a counter argument, so they delete your comments, call it "puerile spamming" and block you ๐๐ฌ xxx

The guy sat next to me on the train pulled out a photo of his wife and said, “She’s beautiful, isn’t she?” I replied, “If you think she’s beautiful, you should see my girlfriend mate.” He said, “Why? Is she a stunner?” "No" I said, "she’s an optician.”

It snowed last night...
8:00 am: I made a snowman.
8:10 - A feminist passed by and asked me why I didn't make a snow woman.
8:15 - So, I made a snow woman.
8:17 - My feminist neighbour complained about the snow woman's voluptuous chest saying it objectified snow women everywhere.
8:20 - The gay couple living nearby threw a hissy fit and moaned it could have been two snow men instead.
8:22 - The transgender man... woman... person asked why I didn't just make one snow person with detachable parts.
8:25 - The vegans at the end of the lane complained about the carrot nose, as veggies are food and not to decorate snow figures with.
8:28 - I was being called a racist because the snow couple is white.
8:31 - The middle eastern gent across the road demanded the snow woman be covered up.
8:40 - The Police arrived saying someone had been offended.
8:42 - The feminist neighbour complained again that the broomstick of the snow woman needed to be removed because it depicted women in a domestic role.
8:43 - The council equality officer arrived and threatened me with eviction.
8:45 - TV news crew from BBC showed up. I was asked if I know the difference between snowmen and snow-women? I replied "Snowballs" and am now called a sexist.
9:00 - I was on the News as a suspected terrorist, racist, homophobe sensibility offender, bent on stirring up trouble during difficult weather.
9:10 - I was asked if I have any accomplices. My children were taken by social services.
9:29 - Far left protesters offended by everything marched down the street demanding for me to be arrested. By noon it all melted
Moral: There is no moral to this story. It is what we have become, all because of snowflakes.

Happiness flourishes in simplicity. The more simple your life is, the happier you are. Prioritise your existence, realise the things that actually matter, and disregard the rest. Don't let little things ruin your day if they don't affect you long term - smile in the face of adversity, and remember that positivity and optimism are a conscious choice. ๐ฏ

Well, at first perusal, the Labour manifesto looks like economic suicide for the UK with the costings largely relying on estimates and best case scenarios not accounting for societal changes resulting from the socialist policies they're looking to introduce.

Many people believe that NHS Privatisation began with the introduction of the Health and Social Care Act 2012; the Act was spearheaded by Conservative Secretary of State for Health, Lord Andrew Lansley. Lord Lansley had also been identified as accepting a £21k donation from the chairman of Care UK, a company likely to benefit greatly from the increase in the use of private health providers within the NHS. As concerning as that sounds, the truth is that the NHS privatisation had already begun under the previous Labour Government. Back in 2006 under the Labour 'Minister of State for Health', Baron Norman Reginald Warner, NHS privatisation was already on the cards as their £64bn NHS privatisation plan was revealed, and there were also reports of a London hospital outsourcing surgical work to a private firm despite fears it could "give that company enormous leverage to launch a takeover bid to run the whole hospital." A Department of Health spokesman under the Labour Government stated: "Primary Care Trusts will take responsibility for securing the best possible healthcare for their patients by commissioning services from a range of providers, including the independent and voluntary sector." [https://www.theguardian.com/society/2006/jun/30/health.politics] [http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/london/6932310.stm]
In 2009, under Labour PM Gordon Brown, the 'Principles and Rules of Cooperation and Competition (PRCC)' was introduced which sought to "liberate the NHS" and "set out the Government’s strategy for the NHS including the commitment that, wherever relevant, patients should have a choice of any willing provider that meets NHS standards, within NHS prices". This allowed private companies to lobby for NHS contracts and provide healthcare services as long as they were on par with nationalised healthcare pricing and quality of care. [https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/principles-and-rules-for-cooperation-and-competition] It seems somewhat ironic that now Labour are banging the drum about preventing the privatisation of the NHS as their keystone policy when it seems it was them who first got the ball rolling and put frameworks in place to facilitate it's privatisation? ๐ค๐คจ

Been an unusual night. Marie came to pick up Lysh & I invited her in whilst our child was faffing about & getting her stuff together. Fast forward an hour and we realised how long we'd been sat chatting whilst Ilysha had gone back onto playing Minecraft. If you had told me 6 years ago that we could co-parent as well as we do, I'd have call you a moron. We're doing good with this child raising malarky; I think we just might be okay :D xo

If we assume Andrew Neil's uncontested figure that the 0.1% top earners cover 12% of Income Tax for the country per annum, and the total Income Tax collected 2018/19 was £191 billion, that means 31,000 people paid £22.92 billion between them. That's £740k each in Income Tax p/a. Bruh.
