The sooner you realise that life is imperfect, the sooner you can stop believing you need to be perfect to fit in it. We all have flaws, none of us are without fault; the fact that I already know this, means I have realistic expectations of people. We all fuck up from time to time, we all make mistakes, hurt feelings, break hearts, beckon tears... but the only thing that truly matters is whether you can honestly look in the mirror and be happy with who is looking back at you. Your opinion of yourself is more important than anybody else's, so stop trying to live up to their expectations and just be comfortable in your own skin. We are all our own biggest critics, so be critical about yourself, and when you find a part of you that you're uncomfortable with, change it instead of hiding it. Be a better person today than you were yesterday. 💯👊
