Fuck, Prometheus is like the Zoom of Arrow, plus
Ragman is way sick as an ally. I love how dark these shows are lately compared
to the bright and cheerful, watered down presentation of superheroes in most
typical media. It's like comparing Nolan's Batman to Martinson's Batman...
Scarecrow, Heath Ledger's Joker and Bane to the comical Meredith's Penguin,
Cesar Romero's Joker and Gorshin's Riddler. It's poetically dark and
unsettling, and I fucking love it.

I genuinely question where some people earn
enough money to support their social lives? I am on a fairly decent wage &
can only afford to eat out or go for drinks a couple times a month & have
a couple budget holidays a year... I swear some people seem to have endless
amounts of cash to fund their home, car, kids, holidays & busy social
lives. It makes me wonder where I'm going wrong? π

This game was worth every penny. Such a
beautifully detailed, breathing terrain brimming with history and lore.
Expansive quest lines, engaging narrative and colourful dialogue littered with
dark humour and vulgar references to amuse. The assorted cast entangled in a
complex tale of lost love, paternal instinct and good old fashioned blood lust
that draw you in, further decorated with the thrill of hunting down Witcher
contracts against formidable adversaries each with their own enriching traits
and mannerisms. I still feel like I have only begun to scratch the proverbial
surface of this masterpiece, and I am already hopelessly addicted to the
adrenaline that floods my system as I hack bloodied, writhing limbs from any
damned manifestations that dare cross my path.

"In 2008, Oprah and Will Smith yelled and screamed and high-fived each
other over how amazing the Obama presidency was going to be. But then, we
had a “beer summit” (that was odd). Then, a trillion dollar stimulus package
…that turned into a deficit. Then a Tea Party. Then Occupy Wall Street. Then
Ferguson, Baltimore, Sandy Hook, San Bernardino, Orlando, Chattanooga,
Benghazi and Dallas. Then came Obamacare. And ISIS rose up in the middle
east. Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Prince, David Bowie, Glenn Frey,
Merle Haggard and Steve Jobs ALL died during the Obama presidency. Peyton
Manning retired. American Idol got cancelled. Tornadoes still ravaged
trailer parks in the mid west and hurricanes still chewed up beaches.
Several people got eaten by sharks. Brad and Angelina broke up. Kanye West
and Kim Kardashian procreated. Smart phones blew up in people’s pockets. We
had, like, six hundred Country Music award shows …and Bruce Jenner is now a
woman. Some of that you can blame on President Obama and some of it …you
can’t. It shows that presidents can affect a lot. But life is going to suck
sometimes, no matter who the guy is in charge. Speaking of the country …it
elected a new president last night. Some people are too happy …and some are
too sad. The anger and vitriol we all thought (and prayed) would end, once
the ballots were cast, seems to only be ratcheting up. I suppose it’s easy
to call for everyone to accept the will of the people when you think your
candidate is going to win. Nevertheless, the thing about presidents elect is
you can never really know what you’re about to get. I always chuckle at
those press questions in a campaign, “what qualifies you to be president?”
The truth is NOTHING qualifies ANYONE for that job. Maybe being a governor
of a big state …maybe not. Until they take you in that back room and brief
you on how bad it really is, you can’t know how you’re going to govern. I
have no idea what kind of President Mr Trump will be. We can never know
these things. But I always give first timers the benefit of the doubt. I
would’ve done the same thing for Mrs Clinton. I definitely did for Mr Obama
…and it’s in print somewhere. What I DON’T believe is that we’re about to
turn into Nazi Germany (and I’ve read some posts from people who actually
believe that). I don’t think we’re going to roll back to the 1950s in our
social order. If Donald Trump is anything, he’s as immersed in current pop
culture as Miley Cyrus. A man who was a regular guest on Howard Stern isn’t
going to be interested in a puritanical revival of any kind. He’s not coming
after “the gays” or the “transgendered.” To the contrary, when Caitlyn
Jenner (formally the aforementioned Bruce) asked him where she could use the
restroom in his hotel, his answer was “use which ever one you feel
comfortable in.” The point is, we might be projecting some of our own
irrational fears onto a man who is definitely flawed …but probably not evil
incarnate. The “educated” among us are reminding us how utterly stupid the
country is for voting for this man, while simultaneously wringing their
hands, melting down emotionally and predicting Armageddon (like …for real).
They may be right about it all …but they may be wrong. I am not moving to
Canada. I am not going underground. I refuse to sling insults at people who
voted one way or another and become a caricature of a petty, ignorant
American. In this country if you run and get the votes …you get to be
president. That’s still a good thing …even if you don’t like the result. For
the Hillary supporters …pull yourselves together. Please. You’re
embarrassing yourselves. For the Trump supporters …a little grace and
humility might be in order. You just elected Donald J Trump as your nation’s
president …and he was once a part of Wrestle Mania. Still, I believe in the
ability of people to surprise you. And I, for one, am going to give this man
some room to prove that. There are not a lot of choices left."

On the build-up to the EU Referendum, mainstream
media took great pride in mocking the Brexit campaign, negatively portraying
the people who sided with them as ignorant. Brexit won. The media then focused
on crying about it and how much of a travesty is was. This is despite the fact
the MAJORITY chose Brexit. On the buildup to the US Election, mainstream media
took great pride in mocking Trump, negatively portraying the people who sided
with him as ignorant. Trump won. The media then focused on crying about it and
how much of a travesty is was. This is despite the fact the MAJORITY chose
Trump. It's ironically unsettling to acknowledge that fact. Basically
mainstream media blatantly tried to sway the vote, and after failing, continue
to paint the outcome as negative because it doesn't benefit those who fund
them.
12/11/2016 @12:53
Why do I feel like this adverts sole purpose is
to push forward feminism & paint men in a bad light? Not only
disrespecting tradition by introducing Mrs Claus as the one who needs to step
in when Mr Claus can't get the job done, but even making her the 'cool'
counterpart to Santa who is in a sleigh and viewed as antiquated using chimney
etc. They stick her in modern casual dress in contrast to the traditional
dress of Santa, give her gadgets and have her painted as the secret behind the
success of Christmas. Furthermore it implies that even beloved and treasured
males such as Santa Claus are not good at controlling money (bills in the post
comment), forgetful (Australia comment), greedy (mince pies comment), and
inadequate in bed (50 Shades reference). It may seem like I'm being petty but
this whole thing appears littered with subliminal messages that basically make
men look inferior to women.
12/11/2016 @21:52
Bernie Sanders:
"Donald Trump tapped into the anger of a declining middle class that is
sick and tired of establishment economics, establishment politics and the
establishment media. People are tired of working longer hours for lower
wages, of seeing decent paying jobs go to China and other low-wage
countries, of billionaires not paying any federal income taxes and of not
being able to afford a college education for their kids – all while the very
rich become much richer. To the degree that Mr. Trump is serious about
pursuing policies that improve the lives of working families in this
country, I and other progressives are prepared to work with him."
12/11/2016 @22:10
Interesting to hear Putin set the facts out in
complete contradiction to the media fed message that incites fear and chalks
Russia up as an aggressor ready to initiate WW3.

12/11/2016 @23:07
I know you likely won't read this, but I wish
you would. I've spent the last couple of hours digging into the facts and
educating myself on the global threat of the next nuclear standoff between the
US and Russia. If you can't be bothered to read it, then to summarise, the US
have provoked the current tensions. If you can be bothered to read it, crack
on and educate yourself somewhat. To maintain humanities safety, there is an
inherent need for strategic balance of power; without a balance of power, the
dominant force can do whatever it likes in both regional conflicts and global
conflicts. This is where genuine fear of, and also the reality of an outbreak
of World War begins. No force is going to mount an assault against an equal
opponent due to the amount of casualties it would yield; you only become the
aggressor once you feel secure and assured in your capability of victory. On
December 13, 2001, George W. Bush gave Russia notice of the United States'
withdrawal from the Anti-ballistic Missile Treaty of 1972. The treaty was
between the United States and the Soviet Union and specified limitations on
the anti-ballistic missile (ABM) systems used in defending areas against
ballistic missile-delivered nuclear weapons. In essence, it prevented the
building of defense systems to neutralise nuclear attacks, aside from two
sites each for their entire countries. In 1974 a protocol was added that
reduced the ABM scope to one site each; Moscow for Russia, and North Dakota
for the USA. To put "anti-missile" or "defense" systems into perspective, they
have blocking layers to prevent disablement, but also the ability to launch
high precision nuclear weapons in response to the attack. Basically, the
"defense" system includes an offensive element. John Rhinelander, a negotiator
of the ABM treaty in 1972, predicted that the US' withdrawal would be a "fatal
blow" to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and would lead to a "world
without effective legal constraints on nuclear proliferation." The
construction of a missile defense system was also feared to enable the US to
attack with a nuclear first strike, without fear of retaliation. Article X of
the NPT (Nuclear "Non-Proliferation Treaty") allows a state to withdraw if
"extraordinary events, related to the subject matter of this Treaty, have
jeopardized the supreme interests of its country". The NPT is an international
treaty whose objective is to prevent the spread of nuclear weapons and weapons
technology, to promote cooperation in the peaceful uses of nuclear energy, and
to further the goal of achieving nuclear disarmament and general and complete
disarmament. NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) states argue that when
there is a state of "general war" the treaty no longer applies, effectively
allowing the states involved to leave the treaty with no notice. This
basically means EU and USA can, at any time, withdraw from the NPT and engage
in nuclear war in the event that a "general war" by their own definition
materialises. Are you starting to understand now why Russia are on edge? They
lay dormant without any act of aggression, placidly going about their lives,
then after 30 years of peace, the USA withdrew from a Treaty which allows them
to start building defense systems to prevent a nuclear attack. Russia are also
aware that NATO can invoke Article X once war breaks out, and resume nuclear
activity. This was the first indicator of aggression that stoked the fire. The
US' withdrawal from the ABM indicates the US are anticipating a nuclear attack
in the future, otherwise, the defense systems would not be needed. Russia
weren't planning on attacking them, so are there new major players in nuclear
armament that Russia need to be concerned about? Russia ramped up their
nuclear weapons program in response to the US withdrawing, not necessarily to
use against the US, but because they were worried about why US needs defense
systems after 30 years of peace. They anticipate either the US plan to hit
them first and are preparing to defend against any retaliation, or
alternatively whoever else the US are anticipating a nuclear strike from could
attack them too/instead. The US have since started positioning Tomahawk based
"anti-missile" systems in the EU, Romania to be exact, relatively close to the
borders of Russia; Tomahawks that can penetrate distances of 500km. Putin has
even said he believes within a year, US will develop missiles capable of
covering twice that distance, and then further, at which point they can
directly threaten Russia's nuclear capability and Moscow. Know this; no matter
how the media relay it, the aggressor in this are the USA. They pulled a block
from the Jenga tower of stability by withdrawing from the ABM in 2002, and
ever since Russia have been anticipating it's collapse and preparing for
global conflict.
