Happy Birthday to the best brother a guy could wish for ♥ - since I was born he's always been in my corner, my closest friend, my anchor and the constant in all my fondest childhood memories. I feel blessed to have such a close relationship with him, over three decades into our lives; still going away together every year travelling and making new memories. Left hand randomly gets pins and needles briefly and it then subsides. Google it. Symptom of a stroke. Start reading more symptoms. Convince myself I've got more of them. Or have I? Idk. Am I just imagining I've got these other symptoms now? Does my left arm feel weak? I can't tell. Not really, I mean, I can use it fine. My face looks fine, it's not drooping but it does maybe feel numb on the left side? Or does it? Now my eyebrow keeps twitching intermittently. What is even happening? Hypochondriac mode in full effect. Thanks WebMD. Someone check I'm still alive in the morning, cheers.

So, I'm home now. Thanks to everyone for your concern and well wishes. Neurologist ruled out a TIA and determined that it's likely a pulled/trapped median nerve in my neck that's manifested as loss of feeling in my face and hand on the left side. My blood pressure stabilised from 160/96 to 128/80 and they advised some lifestyle changes may be necessary to help keep it down and prevent putting extra strain on my heart. Absolutely terrifying experience when you genuinely sit and question if you could've died or been permanently altered by a medical emergency. All I could think the entire time was that I'd be leaving Ilysha without her Dad. Broke my fucking heart imagining leaving her alone in this world without me 💔

Takeaway and Netflix by myself. Missing my little Princess so much! Is this what adult life consists of? No kid this weekend, so I popped up town do some clothes shopping. Came back with a clock and £40 stepladders. ScareFest At Alton Towers! yesterday was amazing. We got to ride Wickerman, Smiler, Galactica, Nemesis, Oblivion, Rita and Thirteen, including a couple of them in the dark which was a new experience! Took part in four live action scare mazes (Project 42, Altonville Mines, Sub Species and The Attic) which were awesome, especially being chased by a guy with a chainsaw whilst a terrified female clung to me in tears 🙈 racked up a solid 27k steps and today I feel like I can hardly walk 😅😂 brilliant day out with my brother ❤️
