An overview of opinions and observations for the month.

Pretty much lost 3 stone now during lockdown. No fad diet. No overkill workouts. No extreme life changes. Three simple things that anyone is capable of.
1) Hit 10k steps a day.
2) Drink lots of water.
3) Eat less junk food.

Seeing ex-porn star Mia Khalifa complaining that she wants all the content of herself removing from the internet because she regrets it now [after she made her money & gained her popularity] makes me really laugh. That's not how contracts, or the internet work hun. Imagine how many of these classless e-thots on OnlyFans/Patreon are going to be in the same boat in a few years when it suddenly dawns on them that they're looked at like cheap prostitutes who surrendered their morals and dignity for a few quid?
tl;dr: selling photos of your vagina or videos of you being ploughed online is not a career & something you'll likely regret.

Super gassed to get my haircut and go The Polite Vicar with Christopher Downs on Monday ๐๐ฏ then get to see Georgina Handy on Thursday hopefully for a bit of food and some drinks at The Reginald Mitchell - Wetherspoons assuming we can get in! Get me back to normality! Now all I need is a holiday with Terry Scott & Matthew Morris and this year will be salvageable! ❤️

I love that already the media are straight in there to condemn people breaching social distancing rules yesterday saying second spikes are likely because people didn't follow the "1m+" rules. Miss me with that. Where was the same energy during the BLM protests? Hmmmm.
05/07/2020
I just assumed this was a BLM protest and of course, social distancing isn't required for that because the virus doesn't spread at those ๐คท๐ป♂️๐ [@StephenBLowe "Soho in London is jammers, mask on and home time for me. Absolute madness"]

Lysh wanted start playing Fortnite since her friend Logan is a big player and never plays Minecraft anymore. So I got it set up. First match I was showing her the ropes on Solos and got her a Victory Royale ๐ then after she got a Squad Victory Royale with a couple randomers... then me & Logan joined her and we got 3x Squad Victory Royales in a row ๐๐ she's played 7 matches and 5 have been #1 finishes! Today in news you likely won't be told; NHS England have reported ZERO new Covid-19 related deaths in the last 24hrs. None. Nada. Nilch. Can someone point me to this second wave that's coming due to pubs reopening please?

"Health Data Research UK has warned that, across the UK, 35,000 more people could die of cancer next year because of the impact of coronavirus." Lol, "pRoTeCt ThE nHs" ๐ฅด๐ Ironically I'm pretty sure the NHS was intended to protect the population from dying as a result of curable/treatable medical issues. It's akin to saying "Protect the Police; stop reporting crimes in case those officers are needed at a different more serious crime" or "Protect the Fire service, just let your house burn down in case those fire engines are need somewhere more important than at your address".

Mandatory face masks in shops from July 24th? ๐ fuck my life. The virus is almost gone. Talk about shutting the gate after the horse has bolted. Absolutely pointless, and absolutely retarded. Remember 6 months ago when you weren't allowed to wear a bike helmet in a shop? Soon we'll all be mandated to walk around in hazmat suits as a precaution. Bye high street, it's been nice knowing you. They've done such a tremendous job of turning the population into terrified neurotic bedwetters. I can't even deal rn.

Hilarious update from the ONS today. Here was their previous death tolls attributed to Covid-19 up to June 26th. They've revised their figures now (reduced them) and despite adding an additional 532 deaths for the week ending July 3rd, they've managed to end up with a lower total than they started with.

"PHE regularly looks for people on the NHS database who have ever tested positive, and simply checks to see if they are still alive or not. PHE does not appear to consider how long ago the COVID test result was, nor whether the person has been successfully treated in hospital and discharged to the community. Anyone who has tested COVID positive but subsequently died at a later date of any cause will be included on the PHE COVID death figures. By this PHE definition, no one with COVID in England is allowed to ever recover from their illness. A patient who has tested positive, but successfully treated and discharged from hospital, will still be counted as a COVID death even if they had a heart attack or were run over by a bus three months later."

17/07/2020
From what I read, it's because if you test positive for Covid-19 at any point, your details are added to a database. When someone dies, they check if they're in the database and if so, voila, you're included in Covid-19 death statistics by PHE and ONS. [@JoeMurphyLondon: "BREAKING.... Matt Hancock calling "urgent review" into a staggering fiasco at Public Health England. They are counting people who die of natural causes as coronavirus deaths if they tested positive at any time previously. Not clear how many deaths were recorded in this way."][@Louise_katz: "What utter nonsense. If you recover from covid as many, many have, and die because you're hit by a bus, how can you possibly say you've died from covid?"]
17/07/2020 @12:08
"For months commentators have been talking about the dire economic consequences which will accrue as a result of keeping the nation under house arrest but on 80 percent of their pay. Now their predictions are coming true. Too many people have got too comfortable with staying at home, not having to commute to work. Too many people have had the fear of God put in them by the government’s Covid-scare propaganda operation and now equate going back to work with near-certain death. Presumably, this was the thinking behind Boris’s new compulsory-masks-in-shops policy: a ruse to persuade all those trembling Covid bedwetters that if they returned to work there’d be no horrid, dangerous people with nasty, breathy, uncovered mouths waiting to give them the deadly plague. But all it’s going to do is stoke up the public’s fear, not allay it. Ubiquitous masks are hardly the symbol of a country beginning to recover from a pandemic, are they?"

"The UK government has bought up 10 face mask production lines as the coverings become mandatory in England's shops from Friday. The move is not designed to provide free, state-funded masks to be handed out at shop doors. Instead, the face coverings will be sold on to public bodies and private sector firms - including supermarkets - to increase the number of coverings in the market more generally. While the government expects to recoup its costs, the firms with which it's partnered up will be able to turn a profit." Seems logical. Introduce a law that isn't really needed, and then financially profit from people adhering to it... ๐♂️๐

Gotta love how having any reservations about the safety of an undertested and rushed Covid-19 vaccine gets you lumped in with Anti-Vaxxers. I'm not anti-vaccine, I'm anti-injecting-undertested-rushed-chemicals-with-no-studies-of-long-term-side-effects into my body. "Six million people in Britain, and more across Europe, were given the Pandemrix vaccine made by GlaxoSmithKline during the 2009-10 swine flu pandemic, but the jab was withdrawn after doctors noticed a sharp rise in narcolepsy among those who received it. The sleep disorder is permanent and can cause people to fall asleep dozens of times a day. Some narcoleptics have night terrors and a muscular condition called cataplexy that can lead them to collapse on the spot. In 2015, a 12-year-old boy, known as John for the proceedings, was awarded £120,000 by a court that ruled he had been left severely disabled by narcolepsy caused by the vaccine. He was seven when he had the jab and developed symptoms within months."

It is insane to me that until now, I never actually understood the breadth of UK law. We are all required to abide by Laws that we neither know exist, nor have ever been made aware of. Do you know the UK laws? There are 4,356 Acts of Parliament and 80,817 Statutory Instruments in force currently that you have to abide by. I doubt I could list more than 50 actual laws if I tried.
