Woke up around 11am. Cleaned out the pitched guttering to ensure I can't be blamed for the water damage 😂 and then literally spent all afternoon watching Corpse Bride and playing Theme Park Tycoon 2 with Bug 😁🎮

Today so far; a summary. Oakley was born at 02:17 this morning - congrats Lo & Keanu. In high spirits, I went and bought 6x storage boxes for £60 from Bargain World, then proceeded to accidentally drop them whilst carrying them home and smashed one to pieces wasting £10 instantly. Got home, knocked off the photo frame of Nana Scott and broke it. Now sat with Charlie trying to play co-op OG Fortnite but my PS4 is estimating 5hrs to install it, rendering it highly unlikely we will get to squad up. Ugh.

Today on "things you never anticipated needing to deal with as a parent". Kiddo has announced unexpectedly that she is a 'therian', started scurrying around on all fours saying it's 'quadrobics', and added me to an Amazon basket of 'gear' (mask, tail, gloves). She says it's not her choice to be therian, it "calls to her" and then proceeded to show me videos on YouTube where the creator says "you don't choose to be a therian, it chooses you" (as 'proof' that she is not making it up). I said it kinda reminded me of Furries, and now she is upstairs crying 🤦🏼♂️

Had Bill, Pete and Tony out today to fix my bedroom window hinge, replace the extractor fan in the bathroom, reattach the cladding on the front doorframe, and complete the annual gas safety check. Feel like a lot has been acheived, but that I haven't got to spend much time with Lysh. After the fellas all left, we sat and watched The Fallout together, but she's gone home now and it just feels like I barely really saw her this weekend at all 🥺

Took Lysh up the Potteries Centre to spend her remaining birthday money... we went Entertainer, Menkind, and Starbucks but then had to come home because she was having painful stomach cramps to the extent she just wanted to lie down and rest. We got home, I sorted her a hot water bottle to hug, ran her a hot bath to relax in, then we had a Zeeshan takeaway since she was feeling better 🤗 and spent the night on Adopt Me whilst watching films together 🥰
