This kid is so irritable lately. No matter what I say or do, she has an outburst. Everything is wrong. Everything is annoying. Everything is an issue. Walking on fricking eggshells in my own home. Ugh.

Next up on the schedule for unwanted drama; the boiler is playing up. Last two mornings I've had to repressurise it with the filling loop because the pressure had dropped overnight to ~0.5 bar. I checked pipes for leaks yesterday and was reassured that there isn't an issue with that. Today it's making a racket and I can see the pressure hitting 3 bar whilst the radiators are on, and there is water dripping out the condensate pipe. Message Tony who tells me it sounds like the PRV or the fan needs replacing. Check with Rich, he thinks it is the expansion vessel has gone kaput. Either way, time for another awkward conversation with the landlord about her spending money... 🤦🏼‍♂️

In light of the current weather, the trauma of taxis, the financial impact, and my general malaise, I've decided to stay home rather than go Stone for drinks tonight with Tez, Stace, Moz, Chris, and Anwen. Instead I am sat in an absurdly long server queue for Fortnite trying to join the Big Bang end of OG season event! 😐

Just found out the local Chinese doesn't accept card payments in person 🤦🏼‍♂️ try order my Chicken Fried Rice & Salt and Chilli Chips for £10.10 and get told I will have to do it on their website if I want to pay by card 🙈 so I sit there in the takeaway doing the order online... have a nightmare trying to pay because it's handled through FoodHub and I can't remember my login... so I'm there resetting passwords and shit in awkward silence whilst the staff member waits by the order printer for it come through 😭 then it costs me £10.90 instead, because the price is different online, there is a compulsory service charge and carrier bag charge! 🙄

Snow Pool Party at Dimensions was a bit meh. Enjoyable, but the only thing noticeably different about the actual swim session was bubble bath snow being blasted in every now and then from the air conditioning units, and Xmas decorations/music. The water was dyed bluer than usual, but I could only tell because of the dye on the tiles - it did not actually look any more blue than usual tbh. Then when we got out Lysh did the Elf Hunt, guessed the number of baubles in the XMAS boxes, and had 10-mins on the play tower 🏊🏼‍♀️🎄🎅🏼

Bruh what even is this 🤦🏼‍♂️ ordering Eggnog Squishmallow for Lysh because Lo has left it a bit late and the only one's on Amazon won't be delivered until mid-January... managed to order the 5" one for £12 instead of the 7.5" one for £15 off eBay... had to fuck around cancelling and refunding it... then found the other Squishmallows available at Argos for £12 but Lo can't order them for another couple days, so lets hope they don't sell out in the meantime...!! 🙃

Watching Phill (451) guess right twice in a row on Circle of Trust was wild! And him knocking out Ashley (278) made it all the more enjoyable! Good episode! Seeing Amanda (019) go too was wonderful viewing - I'd hated her since she brought gender disparity into it!

I've been single for 12yrs by choice. I'm open to a relationship, I simply cannot find a single woman with traditional values in the current cesspool of dating. High body counts, OnlyFans accounts, multiple children from past relationships and the associated drama that comes with it. Boss bitches with attitude problems. All women seemingly have to offer these days is entitlement and expectations. I'm good thanks - I'll be over here, happily being called an incel by women who cannot handle rejection... and by the chads and simps who embarrassingly believe a man's value is dependent on how many women they can sleep with.

The unwritten social contract was supposed to be "do nice things for people" then "people show appreciation" which results in "feeling valued like I have purpose and make a difference". Somewhere down the line, entitlement and ungratefulness destroyed the contract. Either everyone is ungrateful and entitled, or I am defective, inadequate, and what I have to offer is insufficient. Society says to identify the common catalyst; so I guess it's me, hi, I'm the problem it's me.

Spent an expensive but fun 4.5hrs at Winter Wonderland with Bug! 🎢🎡❤ we just kept alternating between the Sizzler and the Waltzers! 😂 few goes on the Police Academy funhouse, a couple goes on the Bungee Trampolines, £5 hook-a-duck... a £5 hotdog, £8 filthy fries, £7 kinder bueno donuts, £4.50 Smarties Hot Chocolate... 🌭🍟🍩 my wallet is crying, but my kid is smiling so it's a fair trade! I gave £3.60 of ride tokens to one family, and tore of my £20 wristband to give to another kid before we left 🤭 big shoutout to the guy who gave me £17 change from a £20 for buying £13 worth of food! And shoutout to Daz, Shacko & Moongirl who I saw there too! 😁🥰

Had a visit off Stace this morning to drop of Lysh's present; Rich tagged along and took a look at my boiler and said just keep doing what I've been doing. Then Charlie visited for the afternoon and told me he'd been buying hacked accounts off El Dorado with his Rooster card and proceeded to show me 6 different PS accounts he's got on his Playstation. Told him he's going to get in trouble, but he knows best ofc and he has loads of VPN's - waffling about this guy Punchmade Dev. He then shows me that he's rebranded his own social media to align with his own new alias of "Punchmade Lazer" that he's going to use to scam, doxx and "commit wire fraud" via Paypal. He then tries to login to some third party Paypal account but fails because he hasn't got the password - but he's seen screenshots that the account has a balance of £3k+ so he's adamant he's going to find a way in. Lord give me strength. Then we watched How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

Awoke with remnants of a cough, hopefully it's entirely gone soon! 🙏🏼 had a chilled morning relaxing and messaging/calling/facetiming with friends & family... got suited and booted for a solid Christmas dinner over at the Moorland with Dad, Ang, Sam, Em, Lo, Ke, Joe, Oak & Jay. Then after a couple of after drinks, I'm back relaxing at home waiting for Lysh to come open these presents with me! 🥰🎁🎅🏼🎄

Been a strangely unproductive and underwhelming day. Lysh just didn't seem arsed about doing anything or going anywhere. We've had a Maccies 🍔🍟 lazed about gaming on Roblox, Lysh had a shower, and then Sammie & Lance have popped by for a visit. Ree has just picked up Lysh, and now I'm going to tuck into some crackers & cheese 🧀 and wack a film on 📺✌🏼
