Ended the year with a Fitbit step count of 4,494,735 (average of 12,281 daily) ๐ฆถ involvement in Thursday Night Football at Powerleague went off a cliff and I subsequently only played a handful of times ⚽ but I certainly made up for that lost exercise with extensive training for Tough Mudder 15K ⚡
Maintained my weight between 13st/14st for the most part, however the last few months have seen a steady slide into the higher digits! ๐ด
My sleep pattern target has been finally achieved! No pretty graphs to show anymore because Google have deprecated the Fitbit Dashboard... ๐คฌ BUT... I wanted to hit my goal of 7hrs of "actual" sleep for 2024, but I will settle for managing an average of 7hr 24m daily sleep opportunity... I mean, realistically I have no control over what Fitbit tells me I've slept vs. what I think I've slept! All I can really control is how much opportunity I give myself to sleep... and as long as that's 7hrs minimum on average, Fitbit can fuck itself off with it's "actually you only slept..." bollocks tbh! ๐ช๐ค
I returned to drinking alcohol after 14-months sober. That's been... yeah ๐ I eased back into it with a pint here or there back in April/May, and then now I'm back to fucking hammering half a dozen pints in on a school night ffs! Old habits die hard, right?! I'm thinking Dry January must be on the cards for 2025 to detox a little because it's been a bit absurd lately! ๐บ
Financially I'm quite possibly in the best position I have ever been. Yeah, I still have my Student Loan Debt lurking in the shadows and nibbling at my income, but it's negligible. Zero other debts. Nothing owing to anyone or any company. A credit score of 632. Little bit of savings in the bank and going into 2025 looking into ISA's, index funds and ETF's... ๐น

Employment remains unchanged (almost 13yrs now). I've been looking into side hustles lately and have also signed up for Prolific to generate a bit of side income.
I FINISHED MY FIRST DRAFT OF LIGHTFADE! You read that correctly. It's done FINALLY. ✍๐ผ It only took from 2017-2024 to get it done! ๐ฌ But it stands at a very healthy 96,000+ words! And I have been looking into the editing and publishing processes such as querying, agents, tradpub etc. Intent on pushing this manuscript out there in the next 12-months and trying to get some actual traction with it! ๐

Circles grow smaller; Sammy popped back into my life briefly to essentially confirm the demise of our friendship. At least I got some semblance of closure from it, even though I fucking hate that it's come to this. Hoping her suitor is worth it...
Romance remains elusive for myself, not for lack of yearning... ๐น๐
