Had a great night with T, Stace & Moz trying to arrange a holiday... 🛫 the evening begins with us all just having the typical formalities and catch-up for an hour, the banalities about the trivialities of daily life - the usual stuff like enshittification, pussy shots, 4-stone florida weight, elephants killing cows etc 😐 Gradually we move onto ordering a bit of food in, deferring to the old reliable Flames Smallthorne for a quintessential 16" Asain Pizza and a few other bits and pieces... 🍕🍗 at this point it's like 22:30 and we still haven't addressed the actual purpose of the evening, finding a holiday that is affordable and ticks all the boxes that differ between each attendee... LOL. What a shit show that devolves to as we fail to find anything suitable! 💩 ...and get repeatedly distracted (namely myself) as we reminisce about past holidays, regaling ourselves with tales of our misadventures and perusing photos that underpin the narrative. Have you ever seen learning English with Ricky Gervais and Karl Pilkington? "Fancy dress... they think he's in fancy dress!" 🤣 Fuck sake peeps, get back to looking at holidays! So where are we going? Bucharest, Albania, Talinn, Sofia, Montenegro? Stace is thinking Nordic. Moz has never been France. Tez thinks Athens sounds tempting... 🤔 In fact, we fuck around that long that midnight arrives and along with it, Travel Republic and Jet2 both go offline for routine website maintenance... 🤦🏼♂️ Undeterred we continue scouring TUI, EasyJet, RyanAir, Skyscanner, Kayak, Trivago, Booking, LoveHolidays etc, whilst the guests pillage my cupboards and fridge for crisps, chocolate and yoghurts. We spend the next hour bickering about destinations, flight times, amenities, sleeping arrangements, and the absence of craft ale bars in remote resorts that aren't located in capital cities... 🍻 However as time sprints past us, and 1am rapidly approaches, we thankfully find a viable option on LoveHolidays, the intriguing and beguiling Malta. After a bit of refining we deduce that Malta may quite possibility fit the bill and start drilling down to the finer details... 🥳 At 01:38am, to the chorus of yawns and the unaninimous acceptance that we're all ready for bed, we call it a night... 😴 We're close enough to the goal that we can figure out the specifics in the coming days; but suffice to say, it looks like we're going to Malta! Right, now everyone get your shit together and leave so I can go to bed... wait, whose is this almond milk in the fridge? 🥛🤨

Perhaps it's because I'm running on fumes of 5.5hrs sleep. Maybe it's because I'm three days on the bounce drinking alcohol after 15-months sober. Or perchance, it's because typical questions tonight on the Sci-Fi themed quiz were "in episode 145 of Star Trek, how many times did Spock blink" or "what is the atomic number of Astatine" or "what is the cumulative runtime of all the ever aired episodes of Battlestar Galactica within a threshhold of 12-seconds variance". Tonight has been stressful and maddening. It was nice seeing Tez, Stace, Sammie and Lance. Nice seeing Chelsea win. Even nicer that our team won £50 thanks to Tez's shot in the dark answer of 2700 to the insane quiz question of "what is my total kill count on Halo Infinite - I'll only accept answers within a threshold of 100" - fucking mental. The quizmaster managed to completely fuck our score by undercounting it by 100pts. Absurd. Had a nice steak, a couple Cruzcampos and even a baby Guiness thanks to Lance. But Jesus, what the fuck was that quiz!?

Been the dentist this morning after getting an emergency appointment booked on Monday morning 🥴 tbf the sensitivity has stopped but there are a lot of similarities between this issue and last july, notably the location of the pain being the incisive fossa of the maxilla. I have been using Sensodyne Rapid Relief, unsure if that has helped. Dentist took an x-ray and confirmed there is no infection around or above the front teeth where the sensitivity was occurring. Fuck knows 🤷🏼♂️

Told Lysh we could go Warwicks Funfair down Burslem today after dinner (says it opens at 1pm) so she's dragged us out of bed at 8am singing Herman the Worm enthusiastically. Says she wants a shower and her hair takes ages to dry so we needed to get up early 🥴😴

A few reflections on returning to drinking alcohol. It becomes so ingrained in society and habit that it's second nature to drink all the time. It's bizarre when you step away and look at cultural acceptance. Alcohol seems to accompany any event even kids birthday parties. It's actually baffling. I'd reached the extent of habitually drinking 4-5 nights a week, perhaps 3-8 pints each occasion depending on company. Moderation has always been an issue of mine. Not knowing when to stop. From drugs, to fights, to regretted sexual liaisons, to dangerous scenarios or even simply sending messages I regret... too many times I've fallen foul of the loss of my faculties. I needed to regroup and reassess and I'd say the 15-month break has really benefited me; it's helped me improve my health massively, especially my mental health as I've been forced to confront myself totally vulnerable and sober. No crutch, no sedation. Sleep quality really improved too. Hardest part was events and occasions where you feel awkwardly sober whilst everyone else seems to be having more fun thanks to the social lubrication that alcohol provides. The break has allowed me to return to drinking with clear boundaries; not drinking alone, no drinking in the house unless it's a social gathering, no drinking at events simply 'because', and if I'm on a prolonged event then I'll be alternating between alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. I feel those guidelines should be a way to a healthy relationship with alcohol without being a total stick in the mud. Honestly at this point though, I'm confident I could stop again permanently and not be that bothered.

Sammie decided come accompany us to the fair 🥰 so we're pretty much all set to leave to head down there when suddenly disaster strikes... Lysh has not got any suitable footwear that fit her properly 🤦🏼♂️ (side note: she has 10 pairs of footwear that apparently none of them fit her today!). She starts asking about going up her Mum's which is a half-hour trip just to go get some different shoes... I'm like, not really, no Lysh it's impractical... "well I'm not going then!" and there she goes up to her room in a rage! 🙄 Sammie suggests we go and swap her size 4.5 Converse for a size 5.5 pair that are down my Dad's... so off we go to sort that! 😮💨 Finally we get down the fair at almost 3pm (remember, we got up at 8am to make sure we were ready on time 🥴🤣) and she has a go on the rides she fancies including getting me to accompany her on the Sizzler and Yankee Flyer - manage get away with only spending £35 since we'll be going Stanworths in a few weeks which has unlimited ride wristbands 😝 been a good day all in all! And now to chill out for a bit before I show my face across the Moorland Inn to see Double Lively in action! 🍻

Got up early enough to do a workout and relax a little before Charlie came to visit with his PS5 this afternoon 🎮 we watched a bit of Shameless and he showcased his PS5 for me, then we popped across Subway so the lad could get a footlong sub & nachos. Then we spent all afternoon co-op'ing Astro's Playroom trying get him his first ever Platinum trophy 🏆 when he went back home just after 5pm, he was well on the way to popping it... and then he messaged me an hour or two later proudly letting me know he'd done it! 😁 Meanwhile I'd gotten back to working up a sweat with a Just Run 10k 🏃🏼♂️ whilst watching Physical 100 on Netflix. Then 7pm rolled around, and I'd made plans to see my bestie Sammy who I've not see in almost a year... so I got myself showered and smartened up excitedly... sent her messages on Messenger, WhatsApp and Snapchat, all without reply... even went round knock on her door because I was looking forward to seeing her... but again, no reply 😣 hope she's okay and nothing has happened to her! After resigning myself to the fact I wasn't seeing my friend today after all, I returned back home and plonked myself in front of the TV 📺 spent the night watching In Time on Netflix instead... it is what it is! 🙃

Besides doing a washload and some dishes, I've vegged the entire day away alone on the sofa & I aren't even sorry. I contemplated walking up Hanley to do some shopping this afternoon but decided I couldn't be arsed and as a result I've barely scraped 3k steps today! 😂 I've read some Terry Pratchett, wrote some Lightfade, played some Yakuza, watched a load of Dawson's Creek, and continued sorting through old photos which largely consists of reminiscing of bygone days with bittersweet nostalgia! 😮💨

First time using Strava tonight, a little 3k run to get an idea of my pace; admittedly almost killed myself off but ran at 5:28/km (Best Effort 1K was 4:56/km) 🏃🏼♂️ for clarity, that pace is surely not sustainable for 5k at present, never mind further distances! Tough Mudder 15k is end of July. There is work to be done! 🦵🏼

Today begins with Facebook removing a photo of Lysh from 2016 because she had no top on; wouldn't be so frustrating if it wasn't part of my Take Daily project whereby now there is a missing photo from an otherwise unbroken chronological sequence spanning over 5,000 photos and almost 14 years. "Your photo goes against our Community Standards on nudity or sexual activity" regarding "showing female nipples, except to talk about breast feeding, the moments after giving birth, health or an act of protest" 🙄🤬

Been a strange sort of night. Went Tesco so I don't need rush tomorrow before the pub quiz. Got an Uber back thanks to TJ and had a brief chat with Lysh whilst I put the shopping away. Then did a Just Run 10k (5/18/1/18/1/18/5) whilst watching Physical 100 and cooking a Pasta Bake. Strava stats guesstimate my pace at 7:43 /km for 7.4km. Then Ree messaged me about Lysh's passport renewal since it transpires the Passport Office now require copies of Court Orders sending in with the application... so I've ended up dredging through all the old paperwork from Court which has been a clusterfuck of PTSD to be frank. Weird reading back over all the shithousery I had to deal with and all the bullshit hoops I had to jump through. The enforceable Court Order still says I only have Lysh for 6hrs on a Saturday, and I aren't allowed to take her any of my relatives houses! 🤯

Did enjoy having a few bevs after a lovely sunny day. Didn't enjoy the diatribe where MGTOW was besmirched as hateful and misogynistic. Ended the night with a lengthy conversation with T about DDNS in respect of Starlink VPN's 😂

Had a fun night with Lysh 💛 she's been dancing in the front room making Tik-Toks and we've been playing guess the song from the intro 🎶 for Melanie Martinez's 3 albums, then the Amazon Music 40 Most Played Songs this week playlist, then a random Gacha playlist 😅 I can't even front, the speed of some responses was ludicrous! 🤯 T invited us to go some inflatable water course thing tomorrow but after initial interest, Lysh had a big minge about having to wear a wetsuit and helmet and said she wasn't going 🙃🥴 tbf it did also say participants must be able to swim 50m unaided and she isn't sure that she can. But still... it looked mega fun! 🤦🏼♂️ Ree has also messaged asking about what annual leave I can have in August 2025 😂 work don't let us book PTO until the same year pretty much so I won't have a clue for another 7-months unless they work outside the rules to accommodate! 😬

Woke up at a reasonable time, around 10ish, and had a chill morning with Roblox and Tik-Tok. After dinner we headed up Hanley on the peasant wagon to go Primark literally to buy Lysh some "white frilly socks" for the baby shower we're attending tomorrow. Naturally she also twisted my arm into getting her some new lace PJ's because no shopping trip is complete without spending more than intended 😂 afterwards we popped to Starbucks at the bosses request 🫡 I had a creme brulee cold brew and she had a Very Berry Refresha (which I ended up finishing because she didn't like it 🙃💁🏼♂️). Then we wandered up to Hanley Forest Park for a couple hours (and of course we went for ice creams whilst there 🍨🍦) then headed home for 7ish to have some tea 🍴 and now we're watching the Melanie Martinez K12 film together again since Bug loves it so much 🥰

Been looking out the window constantly since about 10pm hoping to see the Aurora make a second appearance, alas, it's mugged me right off so I'm going bed defeated! Whilst I was waiting, Lysh had gone bed so I'd put my headphones in to watch some TV on my phone - my door bust open and Bug appeared brandishing an Eiffel Tower ornament like a knife - said she'd been shouting me and after not getting a response had panicking thinking someone had broke in and killed me - bless her little duck! Was crying and everything because she was so worried! 🥹🥰

Had a lovely afternoon at Sammie & Lance's Baby Shower down the Golden Cup 👶🏼🏆 such a good turn out of family and friends! 🥰 as we prepare to welcome another baby into the family, I had to acknowledge that my own child is no longer a kid anymore, because Lysh looked absolutely stunning and grown up in her outfit today... they don't stay little for long! 🤯🥺 after the baby shower I took Lysh down the park for an hour since the weather was gorgeous, then we headed back home for tea just as it clouded over... and now it's hammering down with thunderstorms! 😅⚡ I had intended to go for a run tonight as I've got a lot on this week so may struggle to accommodate elsewhere... but between this weather and my general lethargy I cannot be fucked with it 😂 so I'm spending the night chilling instead either watching TV or doing some gaming probably! 📺🎮

Thanks to Rob & Lorna for having me round tonight - I really enjoyed the spaghetti bolognese 🍝 and it was nice to have a few buds & play some FIFA with my doody like the old days (I even managed to win one match thanks to Burden), and watch Villa's impressive comeback to draw with Liverpool 🍻🎮⚽ struggling to beat a 9-year old at EAFC 24 was a personal highlight of the night 😱😂 as was the constant battle to stop Tess using me like a climbing frame 🐶🤪 Kian's obsession with Pokemon Go has also just resulted in me doing a lap around the estate before heading into the house to catch a few of the little critters in the vicinity whilst topping off my 10k steps for the day! 🥴😂 been an awesome night, really enjoyed! 🥰

Walked all the way home from work absolutely rinsing Pokemon Go again 🤳🏼 then did a Just Run 10k at an estimated 7:32 /km pace which I'm good with considering I've not ran in almost a week now 🥴😂 making some rice, tuna & veg, then gonna play some Yakuza I reckon 🎮 nice simple night of solitude to decompress 😮💨

You ever get in one of those mindsets where you're thinking of all the people who've come and gone in your life? Strange realising just how much people disappear off your radar and don't cross your mind for a while, then randomly pop up. Looking through old photos and stuff, randomly thought of one of my old best mates from High School, Dan Frost. Look online, can't find a trace of him anywhere. No idea where he is or what he's up to. No idea of how his life has unfolded since I last saw him. Mad how life does that, brings people into your life, and then takes them back away without a trace, only memories. I hope he's doing well wherever life has taken him, he was always a top bloke.

Been a proper lazy day with Bug. We were rudely awoken at 09:15 by next door shouting at their screaming and crying children for half an hour 🥴🙄 then spent all day vegging about on Pokemon Go, Roblox, and Tik-Tok. Lysh didn't even bother getting dressed, she just stayed in her PJ's 😂 she wanted to watch Annie (2014) and like usual it wasn't on any streaming platform that we subscribe too, so I had to dust off my pirate hat and eye-patch so we could watch that together this afternoon, cheers Goojara! 🏴☠️📺 then after already having £10 for Robux earlier, kiddo wanted another £5 so she disappeared into the kitchen and I found her doing the dishes saying she was earning it! 😅🫡

Day began with a message off my Mum saying Charlie wouldn't be visiting again because he wouldn't wake up 😐🙄 I messaged a couple of people to see if I could make alternate arrangements, but I guess time just moved on and I've allowed myself to be left behind 💁🏼♂️ time waits for no man, and I've been off the grid a little too long I guess? This isn't some depressing diatribe about social isolation, but more a testament to how difficult it is to make friends/maintain friendships as an adult. Friendships fade out and are never replaced, then you end up isolated with no obvious way to fix the situation. Likely doesn't help if like me, you have too much self respect to beg a friendship when reciprocation is not forthcoming. It is what it is 🤷🏼♂️ It's crazy how whenever I don't have my kids to spend time with, I'm literally at a loss for what I'm supposed to do with myself. Full day of nothingness to occupy and I've come up blank! What the fuck do people who don't have kids do all day?! 🤔 I think about having free time like I can finally watch that film, play that game, binge that TV show, but when it actually happens I rarely want to actually do those things 😅🙈 Settled on going for a walk down Westport Lake since I'd got fuck all else I wanted to do... had a nice wander down in the sun, did a couple laps, had an ice cream, caught some Pokemon... 😂🍦🤳 walked back home under the baking sun and decided I proper fancied a pint but again nobody seemed interested in accompanying me so I headed across Moorland on my own and parked up in the beer garden with a Madri 🍺☀️ Chris came and joined me for a bit before his Xmas Party, probably out of pity 😂😫 then after a few pints I headed back home for some tea... Now I'm likely just gonna watch TV and game until I go bed 📺🎮✌🏼 I used to be such a social butterfly, but nowadays it feels more like I'm trapped alone bouncing off the inside of the fucking window! 🦋

Tik-Tok is a moth to a flame for parasocial relationships (see what I did there?); insofar as it largely encourages people to invest heavily in creators who do not actually reciprocate any investment in you. Kinda like OnlyFans; they have this fake veneer of caring, but it's largely just to keep their audience coming back for more. In respect of the narcissism that is prevalent therein, I heard a phrase I liked previously about social media from Prince EA: "I am so tired of performing in a pageantry of vanity and conforming to this accepted form of digital insanity." I concur. A lot of social media is demo reel, heavily edited and filtered, credit culture, buy-now-pay-later, best outtakes shithousery that drives people into depression trying to compete with unrealistic standards of beauty and lifestyle. I have a current battle trying to keep my daughter out of the toxic sinkhole as best I can. The memes topic is poignant considering I read an article just yesterday in respect of how political correctness seeks to surreptitiously nullify coded language - which by extension destroys an entire subset of communication methods such as sarcasm or subliminals, or even, dare I say memes. Been for a few pints with me old mukka Pete 🍻 had a very disconcerting end to the night being practically hounded out the Forresters by over zealous staff impatient to lock up - really not a good impression having someone yelling at you to neck your pint and leave when last orders was only 15-minutes ago... let's be realistic, don't serve pints at 22:45 if you want everyone out the door at bang on 23:00! It doesn't exactly make you want to hurry back! 🙄😐

I visited a mate and his kid was playing this game; I offhandedly mentioned that I used to play it and the kid wanted to see my account so I reinstalled it. And here we are, a week and some change later. I have grown from Level 4 to Level 28. I'm blessed that I can access a Pokestop and Gym whilst inside my house; that admittedly helps progress quickly as I can play casually whilst watching TV etc. Also I now have 300GB data a month, plus I walk ~7km a day commuting to/from work which involves walking a couple Routes, and bypassing many Stops/Gyms etc. I struggle to do Curveballs at the moment, and I've not been able to do any Raids/Party yet, but we endure. I admittedly get frustrated with seeing the same 'mon everywhere with only the occasional new one. I have the Campfire app but not had much luck. Getting quite acquainted with PokeGenie and have a "Hundo" already, my 15/15/15 IV Chimchar. Last night I was standing in the pouring rain in the middle of a vacant park to enter my Marenie into a Showcase event. I guess I'm getting pretty invested, huh?

Tonight has been spent entirely helping with Uni work, despite not being enrolled on any courses! 🥴😂 I literally got in from work, and then immediately worked on two posters from 19:10 until 00:35, stopping only to cook myself some food at 21:30 😐😪 going bed at almost 2am is going to be regretted tomorrow when I'm running on coffee and daydreams... then I've agreed Lysh can stay over for the Bank Holiday despite the fact I was actually looking forward to having a day off to myself to relax - I just can't bring myself to be the kind of Dad who doesn't spend time with his kid whenever the opportunity arises! I didn't fight through Court to be in her life for nothing! 🙈💛

Thankful that Bug's music taste is improving as she gets older since she puts the TV volume on full then sings louder to compete with it 📢🥴 just turn the volume down, then you wouldn't have to shout so loud kid! 😂 She announced at 21:15 that she needs a shower tonight, plus her moon cycle has returned bringing with it stomach cramps, attitude and irritability 🙈😅 bless her lil' duck, after the shower she just lay on the sofa looking defeated... so early night as a result - she's popped some painkillers and gone curl up in her bed at 11pm... meanwhile I've snuck back downstairs and had a cheeky bagel cause I was proper craving it! 🥯🤤🤫

Had an absolutely awesome day with my Bug 🥰 we woke up about 10ish, lay in my bed watching some @theverycoolgrandpa, then got up and sorted for a long day out the house! 🤗 We ate lunch early to go Hanley Forest Park for around half-12, and headed immediately into Stanworth's Funfair 🎢🎠 Lysh absolutely blew my mind with her bravery! She started off with the Yankee Flyer, next we both went on Tagada, then on the Sizzler together... and then we went on Freak Out... honestly, I really wasn't keen on her coming on it because it was fucking mad - but she did, and despite my concerns, she absolutely loved it! 😐🤯 we grabbed some food (and nearly Les's wallet too) 🌭🍟 then went on the Waltzers together despite my initial protesting (because they always make me feel sick)... lo and behold, afterwards, I felt sick! 🤮 Lysh continued her onslaught of justifying the wristband cost... onto the North Pole Fun House, back on Tagada a couple more times, coaxed me back on Sizzler with her again, back on Yankee Flyer again... and quite bewilderingly, she went back on Freak Out another 3x by herself! 😯 we bought some tango, candy floss, watermelon lolly, and sour spray for an energy boost 🍭 then headed into the regular park area at 4pm'ish where Lysh happily played on the swings in the baking sun... 🌞 Then we randomly decided to walk up the hill to the Orientation Point since it was a nice day! 🚶🏼🌳 some random couple came scrambling up the steep route with a blanket and a cake, then fucking vanished! I have no idea where they went?! 🤨 after a while, we headed back down to nip the loo's and ended up buying ice cream and a slushie from Sweetz & Treatz whilst we were there! 🍦😂 Next, Lysh announced she wanted to hang around to see the sunset before we headed back home 🌇😍 so to kill some time, we went off missioning around the back of the hills in the wilderness... Lysh got stung by nettles so I told her rub some dock leaves on it, which she apparently had no awareness of until now?! 🤯 then for tea, decided fuck it, we may as well pop into Hanley and grab a Maccies 🍗🍟 then we popped in Greggs as we passed to get donuts for pudding too 🍩😂 Wandered back up to the park and played on the swings until the sun was getting low... the we headed up to the fields at the back of the hills which we thought would have the best views 🤗 at this point, the temperature had dropped and Lysh was dressed in shorts & a crop top, so I donated her my coat whilst we waited 😁 some lads were thrashing around on crossers which made me a little anxious, as did the random couple we stumbled upon who were getting feisty in the grass 🤨🤣 The sun started dipping behind clouds before it properly set, and Lysh announced she needed the loo, so we started walking back home (I've hit 19k steps today so Lysh has put some serious mileage on her little legs!) 🚶🏼 then just as we're walking, Em & Jord drive passed us near Captain Kooks and give us a very appreciated lift the rest of the way home! ❤️ Lysh had a shower, I had a coffee, and then we both applied some after-sun after realising we've caught the sun a bit on our faces! 🥵🙈 Now she's gone bed and I'm sat here unwinding before I go bed myself! What a great day it's been with my favourite person, my heart is so full right now! 💛

Chill day after yesterday's busy antics 😮💨 I've done dishes, hoovered up, done a wash load, and otherwise just vegged about with Bug all day watching videos together and gaming 🤳🏼🎮 ordered us a Queen Desserts after tea - got us both some cookie dough & got Lysh a milkshake (knowing she would end up having me finish it because she always find them too sickly toward the end 🤣😏) 🍨 - then we decided since the skies had cleared up, we were gonna pop down Burslem Park to stretch our legs and see the sunset 🫡🌇 Lysh was rushing to get ready leave and accidently mascara'd her eyebrow 🤣 then we hurried down there and got some nice photos, had a play on the park at twilight, then made Tik-Tok's, played Pokemon Go, and got back home around 11pm 🤗😁 now we're just winding down on Roblox to end another lovely Bank Holiday Sunday spent with my favourite 💛

Absurdly so in fact! 😴🤣 Got up at 11am... then Lysh facetimed Ava at 11:15 and stayed on video call practically until she went home! 🤯🫡 They've just been playing Dress To Impress on Roblox, listening to music, and chatting away happily all day. Admittedly I've felt a little left out, but I'm so glad she has such a good friendship... wish she'd stop bloody falling out with most of her other friends though since she fell out with Amelia and Gracie last night! 🙈😤 I've just been sat here beside her, working on Lightfade, reading the Quran in English, playing Pokemon Go, and watching Tik-Toks... really lazy day! 🤳🏼 so now she's gone home, I'm going for a walk down the park to get some sun and fresh air 🌞 then it's going to be a Just Run 10k 🏃🏼 then sit down for some tea! 🍝🤗

After being perpetually annoyed by the Yazoo advert whilst binging Dawson's Creek, I thought fuck this, I'm subbing to ITVX Premium since it's only £5.99 a month. I cancelled off Disney+ since I'm not watching anything on there atm which negates £4.99 of the cost anyway... then I tried to sub to ITVX... 😐 Fuck me, what a palaver! First the website won't let me sub, keeps throwing up "Something went wrong with your payment. Please check your payment details and try again." 🙄 so then I'm on my phone on the ITVX app and give it a crack through that - ends up being processed via Google Play, and initially that's giving me an error too because it won't let me input my CVV 😤 ...but finally goes through... right, sound. Go to play an episode of Dawson's Creek to be met with a message stating: "We're sorry, due to licensing restrictions this programme will contain ads." Fuck my actual sanity... 💀😂

Really considered going for a run tonight after mapping out some 5km/10km routes nearby, but then by the time I'd finished mapping them, it was late & I couldn't be arsed ✌😂 Bought some Haribo instead and spent the night relaxing on the sofa gaming and watching TV without a single fuck given 📺🎮

Waking up to WhatsApp messages from your kid calling you a liar because you told them you couldn't get tickets to the Melanie Martinez Trilogy Tour is not the one... 🥴 it appears that she's Googled it herself and you can still get 2x tickets for 7pm at the Utilita Arena in Birmingham on Sept 20th for £326 💁🏼♂️ so therefore me saying I couldn't get tickets was a lie allegedly... 🙃 because, ya'no, the only thing relevant is whether there are tickets available for sale... not other logistics like work commitments, travel considerations, or even the actual unaffordable cost of the tickets... 🙄

Been a laugh regardless, even if we did shit overall finishing like 7th. I've had 5 pints of Neck Oil, and now I'm gonna have a Punk IPA at home - fuck offff 😂

[Playing Yazuka: Like a Dragon]
It has taken me over a month to reach a measly 5hrs of playtime. The game just does not compel me to play it due to the relentless start/stop of gameplay/cutscenes. I feel as though my apathy toward this game is holding up my backlog since I never feel motivated to play it. Reluctantly, I think I am going to have to abandon it simply so I can move onto something more engaging from my backlog.

I have no idea what is going on. I am smashing everything up with a meat tenderizer, slicing every food into little chunks, then hurling it all over the floor.
