I don't understand why Ilysha never needs a nap on a Saturday, yet always does on a Sunday, even in spite of the fact she slept from about half 7 last night right through until 7am. She has been a bit clumsy this morning and keeps falling over, plus very mardy. Halfway through her dinner she just started crying saying "na-nights" - so I've ended up letting her go bed and she was flat out pretty much instantly. She didn't even finish her dinner.

Ily just came rushing through to the kitchen with her knickers round her ankles shouting "done one, done one" and pointing into the front room. As I walk in, the first thing I notice is her potty lid closed, and that she is pointing to the other side of the room... my heart pauses whilst I panic about where she's gone to the toilet... in her ball pit maybe? On the furniture perhaps? Nope... in her baby doll's toy potty! I was more impressed than anything else because she'd actually got 95% of her wee into this tiny toy potty!

I used to misguidedly believe that when you quit smoking, you should "treat" yourself occasionally as a reward. Now I realise that I unconsciously treat myself every day that I don't smoke; amongst other things, I treat myself to not wasting money, not depending on a chemical addiction to nicotine, an improved sense of smell, a stronger sense of taste, and a better chance at seeing my children grow up and have their own families. A better quality of life is my "reward", and it's the only one I require.

Brilliant example of Ilypie telling me off! I was purposely antagonising her, because as cruel as it sounds, she is hilarious when she get's wound up! But she never gets truly annoyed, my laughter is often contagious enough to make her laugh too :) x
